Roatan  is now poised to move into the fast lane as far as development and investment are concerned. It has been listed in 2007 by Islands magazine as the third best of ten islands in the world to invest in due to it’s comparably low pricing vs other Caribbean locations.

  Roatan is the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras located about 36 miles off Honduras' northern coast. It is situated in the western region of the Caribbean Sea. At 30 miles long and and less than 3 miles wide, Roatan has a total land mass of about 49 square miles (127 square kilometers). It may be reached by air with direct flights from the United States or by a new and modern ferry from the mainland port of La Ceiba (80 minutes).
